About Me

My Life

My name is Serenity, and as you can tell, I am a Sailor Moon fan. Not a whole lot can be said about me, except that I'm 16, about 5'6'', Wiccan, brown hair, brown eyes, a writer, singer (even though I sound absolutely pathetic in my opinion), actress, artist, sculptor, and dedicated to the Craft.

My element is the psychic, reflective, calm Water, I own a kick-@$$ chalice, and I enjoy working with roses and scented water best in my rituals.

My writings are long and complex. Like water, my thoughts are deep and cannot be easily fragmented, as you can probably tell by my long-winded sentences. My stories have won contests, I'm an internationally published poet, and I plan to be an author when I finish high school (in which I am currently enrolled at Freeport High, the Pretzels *gags*... don't believe we're the Fighting Pretzels? Click here).

I've always wanted to travel. I hear Canada is absolutely gorgeous in spring, and I plan to visit Egypt and then live in Japan. I might visit Canada someday...after I brush up on my French.

My Family and Friends
I am currently living in Freeport,IL (aka Pretzel City USA), with my father and stepmother (whom I love dearly). I am owned by one adorable kitty, Luna(!), and a puppy (who's not quite a puppy anymore). My friends are few but close; I would sacrifice my life for any one of them. There's Serenitai, my new/old friend and soul sister (long story); Ami, my dear, dear friend whom I'll never forget; Rini, sweet and kind; and Hotaru, who I miss dearly.

I'd like to take a moment to say hi to my closest friend: Serenitai. Hi!! *Waves*
Serenitai is a very sweet lady, and lives in Canada. I barely talk to her anymore, because she is never online. I miss her, but we keep in touch through e-mails and instant messages when we can...ah the joys of technology...lol :)

My Quiet Little Life
I live in what I call "hell on Earth." It's very quiet out here, too quiet, and people just aren't as accepting as they were in Palatine. I like to sometimes just go outside and look at the oak tree in the front yard (which I've watched go from skeleton-like bare branches to being full and vibrant). I like kitties, bunnies, horses....I was taking Tae Kwon Do for a while(something I wanted to do for many years), and I'll start again when the school year starts again. I specialize in the fine and performing arts, such as acting, dancing, painting, and singing. I love to write also. Eventually, all my viewers (all three of you) will be able to access scanned copies of my drawings and have full access to any and all stories I happen to be working on. A few have been really good, and I plan to send something to a publisher... someday. -_-;;;

I don't talk to many people (people think I'm weird, or ugly, or b****y...)and NO ONE(with the exception of Serenitai) writes/emails me, which is sorta rude.... If you want to contact me, e-mail me with the link below...and enjoy my site! Below are some of my more recent poems; everyone seemed to like them, so I'm posting them for now... :) However, you ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT reproduce these without my express permission. If you want to post them, simply ask and I'll more than likely let you.

Love is a delicate rose

From seed to stem, thorns to blooms,
Love is a beautiful rose.

From seed to stem newfound love grows,
Lending strength to its future.
The stem gains leaves of support from friends,
As thorns show the rougher side of love.

A beautiful red bloom develops;
Each petal is a sweet moment together.
The very center of the bloom is true love;
One must be patient to reach it.
The sweet scent of the rose is really
The beautiful changes in the lovers.

But, when this lovely blossom
Is crushed by outer circumstances,
Then do we realize how fragile love is.

Guess what? Love is a delicate rose has been published in the UK! Look for it in Theatre of the Mind, soon to be published in London!

La Luna

One blessed summer's night,
La Luna spoke to me.
She blessed with silver tips
My eyes and lips and hair.

One blessed summer's night,
La Luna sang to me.
She sang of an old kingdom
That was long ago destroyed by darkness.

One blessed summer's night,
La Luna begged of me,
To bring back the ruins of this kingdom,
And bring peace.

One blessed summer's night,
La Luna cried with me.
She sent down cleansing rain
As she shone ever more brightly.

One blessed summer's night,
La Luna bid farewell to me.
She sent me on my way as she disappeared into the horizon
Leaving fresh dew and a glittering silvery crystal behind
As morning came and replaced her, the moon

Maiden, Mother, and Crone

Maiden, mother and crone,

Past, present, and future.

Three are the lights,

Three are the hours.

Each with a gift,

Each with a power.

Maiden: beautiful, radiant, innocent

Believing in people when others cannot,

She brings light and hope

Into a dull and dead world.

Mother: nurturing, caring, benevolent

Seeing in people what others do not,

She brings light and peace

Into a dark and chaotic world.

Crone: Ancient, wise, embracing

Knowing in people what others do not,

She brings light and wisdom

Into an abysmal and foolish world.

Three are the lights,
Here now that are seen.

The sacred triad is reborn

To save our dying world again.
